I make the figures I always wanted to collect.
I’m Saleh Al Shehabi, the maker behind every FigureX Studio piece. I design, 3D-print in resin, paint and finish each figure myself in my Bahrain studio.
One Piece has always been my favorite series, and detailed Street Fighter pieces became an early signature. I’m a lifelong anime watcher, superhero fan and unapologetic Porsche enthusiast—so car culture and crossover ideas sometimes find their way onto the bench.
I’m also a father of four. Family and these passion projects keep the studio’s creative energy moving.
Why I started
From fandom to a practice.
I started by chasing details I couldn’t find in production pieces: a more expressive pose, a paint treatment that caught the mood, a base that told part of the story.
One experiment became another. Learning digital sculpting led to resin printing; printing demanded better finishing; painting became the place where the whole piece finally found its personality.
Today, FigureX Studio is still intentionally small. That means every object receives the same close attention that made me begin.
